I'm a 39 year old science teacher living in London and working in Kingston upon Thames. I grew up internationally, moving between Germany, USA and the UK. I studied to postgraduate level at Newcastle University and got into teaching after working at a science museum for three years after university. I'm approachable, friendly and I have good relationships with my pupils.
For the summer holidays 2025, I am offering short-term intensive Biology sessions for exam groups moving from Y10 into Y11 and Y12 into Y13. If your son/daughter is looking for sessions to either maintain or catch up on Y10 or AS content before their examination year, I can help with that. Please message me to discuss needs and options.
I'm a qualified secondary science teacher, working full time at a school in Surbiton. I completed my PGCE in 2011, and before that I was a Science Educator in the Education department of the Centre for Life in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I cater that to the needs of the pupil, but I often find that to get the marks, exam techniques and past paper practice is very successful. I utilise online classrooms and ensure all resources used are accessible by my pupils between and after tutoring sessions. I am happy to communicate between sessions should pupils have any urgent queries or need help outside of sessions too.
