I am a current 2nd year graduate entry medical student, with two previous degrees from the University of Birmingham in Biomedical Science (BSc) and Trauma Science (MSc)! My A levels are in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and AS level in Physics.
I have previously tutored A level and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Maths whilst I was at school. Throughout my first degree I ran revisions sessions and covered 'tricky bits' of the course aimed at helping younger cohorts of students. I currently teach basic life support & first aid courses, as well as medicine revision sessions to other medical students.
I like to give my teaching some real life application, particularly when thinking about Biology and Chemistry, I find it helps to conceptualise some of the more tricky content. I like to take difficult topics and strip them down to their simplest aspect and then build up on the details. I am an advocate for practice questions and learning from previous mistakes.
