I am an 'Outstanding' Grammar School teacher, Masters educated, specialising in English Language / Literature. I currently teach students aged 11-18 in a selective school in Kent, but also have prior experience in non-selective education.

Tutoring Experience

I tutor students online from across the UK, from village primaries to the top private schools. I am passionate about giving pupils the best chance of success in their 11+ exams and to secure a place at their first choice secondary school. I have worked with a broad range of abilities from ages 9-18 and specialise in nurturing more able students to reach their potential.

Tutoring Approach

I like to challenge my students to the best of their ability but at a pace that suits their needs. I am very patient and calm and have experience teaching a wide range of students with a wealth of educational needs.

Due to the current climate, I will be teaching sessions online for 11+, KS3, GCSE, A-Level / IB.
