I have recently completed medical school and will officially graduate as a doctor this July. Throughout my studies, I discovered a deep passion for teaching. I genuinely enjoy helping others grasp complex concepts, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing students achieve their target grades. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and with the right support, encouragement, and guidance, they can reach their goals. Teaching allows me to combine my love for learning with my desire to help others succeed. I’m excited to share my knowledge and help students excel in their academic journeys. Further to this my mum is head of chemistry, so I am constantly in the loop with school curriculum and resources to aid making lessons focussed.
I first started tutoring while at grammar school, supporting younger students with Biology and Maths. Later, during university, I continued this by helping pre-clinical medical students—particularly in subjects like Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Pharmacology. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable concepts and tailoring my approach to suit each student’s learning style. Whether you need support with school science / maths or early medical studies, I’m here to help you feel more confident and capable.
My priority is creating a warm and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking any questions—no matter how big or small. I keep lessons interactive and engaging, using lots of practice questions to reinforce key concepts and build confidence. Between sessions, I usually have set short, targeted homework to help consolidate what we’ve covered and encourage independent learning. My goal is to help students truly understand the material, not just memorise it.
