We used Richard for a short term assignment as my son required additional support for a third year degree macroeconomics module.
Richard, was very responsive, supportive and clearly very knowledgeable. We would certainly recommend his services.

When my son started Economics A-level, one of his teachers was not up to the job. As it was an entirely new subject for him, he felt very lost and unconfident in those vital early months, so we decided to find him a tutor. Richard quickly developed a rapport with my son and helped him grow his confidence. He made the subject interesting and relevant by encouraging discussion of real-world issues while always ensuring that my son had the knowledge and skills he needed. I never once heard my son complain about having his session with Richard! Before he started with Richard, my son was predicted a C/D for Economics. His final result was a high B, just five marks away from an A, which he would never have achieved without Richard's help. I highly recommend Richard as an Economics A-Level tutor.

I have been with Richard for my first year of Uni.
Richard spends time going through maths questions explaining it well so I understand. Richard explains each component of the questions well and tests me to ensure I have acquire and skills and knowledge in order to answer the question on my own. Richard has also aided me in economics essays and questions allowing me to receive an average of 69% on my economics essay assignments. I can definitely recommend Richard. A very good tutor who had materials prepared and was very thorough and encouraging, despite my not being overly enamoured with economics. After his lessons, there was a noticeable difference in both my test results and my understanding.

Richard is a fantastic tutor! Richard helped me work towards resitting my Economics exam for my MBA. He not only made the content easy to understand he also made is relatable, meaning I was able to understand concepts in a real world context. I made contact with Richard over the Christmas holiday period in the hope that he would be free to help,

Richard kindly agreed to assess the requirements before scheduling his time with Emily. This happened within a couple of hours.

Putting it simply, Richard was excellent. He was very enthusiastic about the subject and provided superb advice to Emily. I was particularly impressed that he would review Emily's work before the next session. We really felt he was going the extra mile.

I'm delighted to say that Emily received her results today for the assignment and it was a 1st class honours grade!

When I first contacted Richard, I was in a panic about an upcoming economics exam for university. After a few sessions my confidence grew. I very much enjoyed tackling material with Richard. He was able to clearly explain how to answer any of the questions which my university had not provided answers for, helping me immensely with my maths and approach to questions. He is a very likeable character, keeping me engaged throughout all our sessions (something which is rare for me to say), and I would definitely recommend him to other university economic students. I will be contacting him again in the future if I need economics help!
