Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching Business related subjects for 17 years. I am currently the Head of Economics at an Independent School in Ascot. I am an Economics Examiner for both the AQA and Edexcel exam boards and have 10 years experience of marking A level exams. I currently teach the new specification for both the Business and Economics A Levels

Tutoring Approach

I use my knowledge of the assessment process to design activities that develop a pupils ability to gain marks efficiently when interpreting exam questions. I focus on the four assessment objectives at A level and teach students how to incorporate these into extended writing. I can also build confidence with pupils knowledge of base concepts and numerical techniques.
