I'm a serving specialist Maths teacher taking on a handful of students. I am experienced in teaching high school students of all ages and abilities including high achievers and foundation students looking for a grade 4. I have successfully tutored students alongside teaching and find that keeping student numbers low enables me to focus upon their needs and create outstanding lessons to maximise progress.

When looking for a tutor, find a specialist in the subject. Do not pay less for something so important often at pivotal times of a young person's life. Try to avoid the group scenario offered by large chain organisations.

Tutoring Experience

Teaching Ks3 and GCSE mathematics to high school students in the north west of England. I have successfully tutored students alongside teaching and find tutoring to be a very rewarding experience for both student and tutor.

Tutoring Approach

Initial assessment identifying topics to improve, this will enable me to develop a series of lessons designed to fill gaps and interleave topics throughout. Feedback constantly given and progress monitored.
