I am a DBS cleared successful Chartered Engineer qualified with a Masters Degree. My own personal academic route has proved challenging at times but despite this I persevered to reach my goals and I believe this makes me an ideal understanding and patient tutor in maths and physics who is prepared to adapt their teaching style to suit the student.

Tutoring Experience

After completing A-Levels I obtained a Master of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Surrey. Since then I have spent just over 20 years working on bespoke technical solutions to problems facing UK Defence and Security as a successful consultant within UK Government. As well as working on multi-disciplinary projects where explaining technical information is the norm I have also been a STEM Ambassador where I have designed and run lessons in schools.

My approach will be based on the student’s requirements and preference and I will tailor it accordingly.
