Hello, I'm Richard.
I am 32 years old and I am currently a Physics Teacher based in Fife.
I have 10 years teaching experience and have previously taught at Waid Academy, Tynecastle High, Douglas-Ewart HS, Lasswade HS and now currently at Bell Baxter High School
I graduated from Strathclyde University in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Teaching.

Tutoring Experience

As mentioned, I have taught at four schools across Scotland since 2012 and have had experience teaching Physics at all levels from National 3 to Advanced Higher.

During my last post and current post, there has been an increased uptake in my subject and an increase in overall % of A to C level passes.

Tutoring Approach

I create a friendly environment in which questions are encouraged and failure to understand a concept is challenged by building the understanding one piece at a time until the full picture is constructed.
