Did my PGCE course in 2006-2007 (UEA) and started my first teaching job in September 2007. I graduated from Nottingham Trent University (2005) with a first class degree in business. I am a Norwich City season ticket holder and 'enjoy' running. I have got a place in the London marathon which I'm looking forward to.
Tutoring Experience
Qualfied as a teacher in July of 2007 and started teaching in the September of that year. I have taught students from year 7 to students that were completing a foundation degree. I am currently teaching in a Norfolk high school which has a sixth form attached. I have previously taught in one other school and a HE / FE college. I have taught business studies (A-level / GCSE), ICT (GCSE, Cambridge Nationals), sport (BTEC level 3), public services (BTEC level 3) and leisure and tourism (GCSE).
Tutoring Approach
Friendly, positive and helpful. I am happy to work with the student to identify what they need and come up with appropriate plan. For examination success exam technique is key so this is something that will take priority.
