A fully qualified teacher of Mathematics with more than 8 years classroom experience. I have many hobbies but have always remained passionate about Mathematics and believe everyone can learn from the subject. I gained a degree from Exeter University in 2010 and initially worked in London for an insurance company. After switching career I immediately realised teaching and learning as another life long passion. I enjoy working with students of all abilities and can effectively help anyone from KS3 up to an Oxbridge A-Level candidate.
Responsible for KS3, GCSE & A-level classes since qualifying in 2012. I have seen hundreds of students through these courses over the years and have a proven ability to add value and raise results. I have been tutoring since my professional career began and have experience teaching across multiple exam boards.
There is no single approach to tuition as every student is different. As strengths and weaknesses become clear we will work together to overcome any learning barriers through activity, key questioning and practice. Steadily we will build confidence and work out how best to maximise progress no matter what your end goal is. I can set and provide feedback on extra work (to be completed out of hours) so students will have all the additional resources they need.
