Rohin

Hi, I'm Rohin, a junior doctor who trained at the University of Oxford. I am an experienced teacher, having taught for 8+ years, built on my expert understanding of the basic sciences and clinical experience. I thoroughly enjoy teaching, a fact that I've been told comes across in my sessions. I've been through the system recently so I understand the challenges faced by students sitting exams both before and during med school.

I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2020 with a medical degree and an MSc (hons) in Medical sciences. I've also recently achived an MSc in Digital health with distinction.

I am an expert in OSCE's and other medical school exams, drawing from my own experience as a student and my current job. Experience has taught me the best ways to get through med school, including written and practical exams, and I'd be happy to take sessions for current med school students who'd like help in this area.

I scored an average of 815 on the UKCAT and performed well on the BMAT. I currently offer sessions on GCSE and A level Biology and sessions relating to medical school admissions (UCAT, BMAT, personal statements, interviews etc).

Tutoring Experience

8+ years of private tutoring experience for GCSE, A levels, and medical school exams, including entrance exams. I also taught UCAT for Kaplan test prep for ~6 years.

I currently teach medical students full-time at the University of Bristol and nursing students at the University of the West of England

Tutoring Approach

Our sessions will always be centered around you - we'll work at your pace to help you feel confident with your work and tackle any problems you're facing. We can work on your exam board's syllabus or specifically focus on any topic you need. My experience has taught me that exam technique is very important and so I like to cover this in addition to syllabus content.

I'm very familiar with medical school applications, having spent a lot of time on my own a few years ago. I can offer help with interview practice, medical personal statements, admissions tests and general advice.
