I am a fully qualified History teacher at a Secondary School in North Lanarkshire who is fully committed to providing the best possible support to my pupils.

I graduated from the University of Glasgow with a MA (Hons) in 2014 with a 2:1. My studies here included History, Politics, Theology and Sociology.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified History and Modern Studies teacher, having gained full GTC registration in June 2017. I am also an SQA marker for the National 5 History exam. I have experience teaching tutoring at both National 5 and Higher levels for 8 years.

Tutoring Approach

In my tutoring of students I ensure each person is treated as an individual. I appreciate that all learners have different and important needs which must be targeted appropriately. I have an excellent rapport with my students and motivate them to improve in their studies. I have consistently delivered supported study throughout my teaching career which has undoubtedly benefited the young people in my class through one to one support.
Home tuition will take the form of Past Paper practice and marking, discussion, in-depth analysis of questions and curriculum content.
