I am a second year University student at the University of Cambridge, I study Engineering. I acheived a first in my first year, ranking in the top 10% in the year. I am looking for the opportunity to help some students over summer study for exams.

Tutoring Experience

This is my first time tutoring professionally. During my time at 6th form, I was asked by my school to assist with tutoring some GCSE students with their mathematics. I also helped provide tutoring to an ex student who did not have sufficient mathematical knowledge for their engineering degree.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that the best way to provide additional teaching is to give the student the fundamentals and help develop their ability to solve the problems themselves in preparation for exams. By seeing how the student works through problems, it is easier to determine the best method to teach the content that they are struggling with, which is a much more personalised experience than you will find in school.
