Ruth

Hi! My name is Ruth. I achieved an A* in GCSE Spanish and an A at A-level, and have developed fluency by speaking Spanish daily with native speakers at work over the past couple of years. I'm passionate about the language and would love to help you build confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Whether you're preparing for exams or aiming to improve your fluency, it would be great to support you in whichever areas you want to focus on.

I also recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a 2:1 in Theology and Religion. I love thinking about the big questions of life, and I’d be happy to support you with your Religious Studies — whether that’s essay technique, understanding philosophical concepts, or revision strategies.

Tutoring Experience

I have held several voluntary teaching and mentoring roles, including providing English language support to Spanish-speaking adults, informally tutoring A-level Philosophy and GCSE English Literature, and offering one-to-one reading support to a Year 9 student.

I want you to really enjoy your lessons, so I tailor each lesson to your individual preferences and learning style. I also enjoy being creative with lesson plans, incorporating content that interests you and developing exercises that keep you engaged.
