Hi! I am a passionate individual who currently works in the NHS and would love to help teach younger students. I find the process enjoyable to help students grow and to teach them during their first steps in education, my ultimate goal is to help them understand concepts and apply them - in an enjoyable way! I would love to work with you and your children to help them understand any difficult concepts they may face but also be a pillar of support for them during their education :)
I have taught Mathematics for private tutoring companies during university for younger students aged up until 11 years of age and I have worked for some local tutoring companies for primary school students. In school I was also a sixth form subject mentor for younger students and regularly helped out during my lunchtime breaks to teach students.
My teaching approach is mainly based around understanding what they struggle with during school, explaining it in a simplified manner and giving them questions to really solidify their learning. I also like to check in with the parents once a fortnight/once a month to keep them updated with the progress of their child.
