Hi! have a BSc in Physics with Molecular Biophysics and a Master's in Nanomedicine. I am passionate about all things science and have an interest in a broad variety of subjects that range from current affairs to sports. I firmly believe that everyone has a capacity for excellence and they just need the confidence and support to pursue their goals.
I have over 13 years specialised experience as a tutor and was a Physics teacher at a prestigious grammar school and private school. During which time I also ran the Physics department. My forte is teaching A-level Physics and have previously achieved good results with my school classes as well as private tutees.
Although I have a physics background, I have a qualification in advanced life sciences. During my Master's I worked for NASA doing research in biotechnology. I have a sound understanding of life sciences and am confident in my ability to teach.
I believe in a holistic approach to teaching. Hence analytical skills are just as important as covering subject matter. Therefore I focus on strategy, revision and exam practice as well as covering the syllabus. I am an easy going tutor that takes student needs into account.
My aim with tutoring is to make the tutee feel more confident in tackling all aspects of the subject, and to enjoy it more. I try to break down all subjects into the basics and build up from there.
