Hello, I am an KS3, GCSE, KS5 English Teacher with 16 years experience. I love my job and am passionate about helping students discover that passion too. I am an avid gardener and love nothing more than a good book in a sunny garden.
Hello, I have been teaching English to KS 3/4/5 for 16 years with continual high results. I have been successfully tutoring for ten years. I believe that all students have the ability and capability to learn and thrive if given the correct means to do so. I am a great fan if independent thinking and working, developing cognitive thinking and skills based teaching which is transferable to all subjects. Above all, I believe fostering a love if learning is the most important to ensure success.
After all these years, I still love what I do. I followed the academic path and now lead the research hub at my place of work, examiners links for marking and am committed to ongoing high standards of teaching and learning for all.
Intelligence is a learned behaviour. Anyone who wants to succeed will - only if they dedicate the time and stay resilient. The only obstacle to success, is you. For some, the journey is easy, others it is the hardest trek, but if you persevere, you will succeed.
