My name is Sally Houghton and I am currently a tutor of English and French.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching English and French for twenty seven years and spent thirteen of those as a manager of E.A.L in a Rotherham secondary school. I have also managed a languages department. I have taught the new specification English G.C.S.E preparing students for AQA, Edexcel and International G.C.S.E language exams. i am also an exam marker for AQA English Language.
Tutoring Approach
When I work with tutees, I always offer every individual the opportunity to guide their own learning if they so wish; this may be in the form of provision that supports their school and college schemes of work or provision offering something extra and complementary to existing studies.
