Online Tuition for English and Media / Communication Studies
I'm an experienced teacher, living in Devon. I currently work part-time for a Plymouth school and privately tutor in the evenings and during the day-time, two days a week.
Tutoring Experience
I gained my first teaching post in my late 20s and have worked as an English and Media specialist in secondary schools ever since. After having my son, I moved to a part-time contract.
During my teaching career, I have been Ks3 manager for English and Head of Media for GCSE and A level.
Tutoring Approach
I enjoy 1:1 delivery as I feel this benefits the student the most. I like to develop a rapport with young adults and have a relaxed approach. I tailor the lesson to the student's specific needs and fill gaps in knowledge or skills there and then.
