Sam's Feedback

Sam has been tutoring my son for A level Maths. I have found Sam to be very professional in every respect. Communication has always been good and he always responds to messages. He is punctual and comes well prepared with teaching/ learning material. He knows the syllabus and is quick to identify areas of focus for my son. Sam has developed a good working rapport/ relationship with my son. He is very supportive and encouraging and my son always feels quite positive at the end of the session. A very approachable person and has been flexible working to our schedules.

Sam is an excellent tutor, our son found him really helpful, he was able to manage his adhd and keep him on task.

Sam has helped my daughter with further maths GCSE preparation. She’s really bright and has always enjoyed maths but had a particularly awful mock exam that she came out of crying because she thought that she’d done badly. This really knocked her confidence at a particularly bad time.
Sam taught my daughter in a way that she understood and gave her confidence to tackle her GCSE. Furthermore, he came to our home, was punctual and professional and she never moaned about the extra tuition (and that’s saying something for sixteen year old girl)
Sam also went out of his way to go the extra mile, going through past papers for regular maths and being available to give to extra sessions on the evening before exams.
I’d highly recommend Sam. I’ve been blown away by his professionalism, knowledge, personality and ability to coax the best out of my child.

Sam has been helping my son with his maths GCSEs. My son struggles with his learning and Sam has been great with him helping him to understand the different questions. Sam is a nice, friendly and patient teacher. I would highly recommend him.

Good communication skills which iare a must for us, reliable, able to identify both strengths and needs, able to focus on areas which need more guidance to pin point what area needs further explanation. Initial impression has been very good and hope to see more progress over time. Morr importantly my son is able to discuss the process so helps with him truly understanding in depth and he engages well with Sam.
