Samea has been teaching my daughter for two subjects - History & Media for just under a year now.
( Year 10)

Samea has thorough knowledge of the subject/s & her practical knowledge & advice on exam output required is excellent. That is the practical information on what & how to do the answers that gets the most marks. She came in just before my daughter returned back to school after lockdown & it’s been priceless. It increased my daughter’s confidence to return back as the content & technique for the subjects had been covered by Samea. She has given ongoing guidance on project work etc that is again priceless. For instance that just having a nice colourful project isn’t enough it needs to include elements that answers the required criterion that gives the marks.
I’m hoping to continue these lessons through to next year in GCSE & possibly to A levels as I know my daughter is picking up 1 if not both of these subjects.

So she’s a great tutor but don’t poach her from us! Joking aside she will be the perfect help for your child, the boost very much needed during these pandemic days.

Sam is an amazing tutor. She goes over and beyond with our son. At present she is tutoring our son for English and I can see an improvement in his English.

Sam realises that every child needs and learning is different and she amends her teaching strategy accordingly to suit our child’s needs.

Sam helps our son with his learning because she is kind and actually explains how language works. Our son enjoy the resources such as videos, that she uses to teach. She has taught our son how to use the dictionary which he loves doing now.

Our son’s spellings and writing is very much improved because of Sam.

Samea is such a wonderful tutor and a lovely person! Since English is not my 13-year-old daughter’s mother tongue, she was a bit shy when she started one-to-one online English lesson. Samea is really an excellent tutor, having a fantastic way with my daughter. My daughter’s confidence has grown and she really enjoys her lessons with Samea.
Samea is very professional and efficient. She tailors her lessons to meet my daughter’s needs. The way in which Samea teaches, how she structure's her lesson really works. Just after 10 hours lessons, my daughter has already improved her English a lot, especially in writing and speaking. My daughter even said she want to be an English teacher, too. What a high compliment to Samea for her great help!

Very helpful. Not only did she help with History A-level she also provided additional help and knowledge for my English Literature work. She is very organised and prepared for each session bringing in extra material and sending any other resources to expand my knowledge. She goes over every detail thoroughly and allows me to understand not only the material I am learning but external knowledge which really elevates my work . I'm very happy with my experience and hopefully will have her tutoring me in English soon too.

Some good points and experienced tutor. However, Samea was not compatible with our current needs, particularly around being explicit about how she assesses tutees.

Brilliant Tutor!!!

Reliable, Punctual, Organised, Enthusiastic, has a very good teaching method, Friendly, Caring, Positive and Lovely person… I am very pleased to find Samea! My 13 years old daughter has been very much enjoying Samea's lessons, motivated, get confidence and interested in learning. We tried a few schools in different countries and many online courses, teachers and methods but I must say that Samea is the best!!

Her lessons are full of fun and information which attract my daughter. She has a clear idea and lesson plans so my daughter and I both can see the target and progress.
I don't know how much effort she is putting in her preparations for her students but we can see that she works so hard to find what is best for students.

She is not only providing the service, but she is also being a "mentor" for my daughter. We will continue taking her lessons and thinking to take more subjects.

Sam has an infectious upbeat character, and my son Zach has become very fond of her and her methods. She uses play to encourage learning which works perfectly for my son Zach. I've waited a while to write this review. Sam has been tutoring my son for a number of months now. My son is sitting iGCSE Edexcel English Literature and Language this year. English is his least favourite subject and being mildly dyslexic finds it difficult. At the start of the year his English teacher thought that he would struggle to get a 4 in the finals, now he has predicted grades of 6-7 for English Language and 6 for Literature. Sam is really enthusiastic and talks to my son in such an engaging way, helping him to structure his thoughts so that he is able to get them down in paper in a way that is going to score him marks. She's given him confidence. He still doesn't like English any more now, but at least he is much better at it!

Samea is an excellent tutor, she helped my son gain massive confidence towards his GCSE exams. Before meeting Sam, my son was struggling a lot, Sam put him back on track, I was particularly impressed by how engaged ny son was. She is fun, very relaxed, patient, skilled and very supportive. My son made good progress and I'm very pleased with the way she teaches him.
I highly recommend her.

My daughter is getting so much out of working with Sam - she is helping her confidence and understanding in Economics (A Level) and also teaching her techniques for working which are having a knock on effect on her other subjects. She is generally more enthused about the subject which is great to see. Sam is a great teacher with an adaptive style and I would highly recommend.

Samea was a dedicated, passionate and fun teacher. She was flexible and always ensured that the work got done even after our tutoring hours. Samea would also send links and messages to help with the work or to ask about any difficulties. She was also very easy to talk to so I would definitely recommend her as a teacher.

Sam is an excellent tutor. She is up to date with what is required for examination practise and has in depth knowledge of what she teaches. My son who is currently is year 11 feels very comfortable being taught by her. They click together and she is very patient with him. His grades have improved in the short time she has taught him and no doubt will increase further. I will definitely recommend her and her time keeping is spot on.

Love her, she is brilliant! She has worked with my 17 year old on his A’levels and got him 2 grades higher than his predicted grades. She is also working with my KS2 son and has made great progress over the summer, getting him motivated, excited and most importantly interested with an appetites to learn- would recommend any day of the week!

Samea was a wonderful and fun tutor who allowed me to advance my abilities in the media sector. Absolutely superb!

My son was really struggling in history, his school were not being very helpful at all, so I turned first to to First Tutors and through them found Samea who was an absolute godsend.

Not only was she a great teacher, she also gave my son confidence. Samea knows her subjects and imparts it in a truly professional, understandable way. Samea actually took the time to look up the course my son was studying and was prepared for the sections which were the most troubling.

Samea when she wasn't tutoring my son, would send information, links to websites and generally kept in touch, nothing was too much trouble.

Would recommend Samea to anyone
