I am an experienced Geography Teacher based in Birmingham. My current and most recent roles have been as an Assistant Headteacher in Secondary Schools.

I graduated from Swansea University with a BSc (Hons) Geography 2:1 and from the University of Birmingham with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDipEd) and QTS in Secondary Geography Education.

I additionally hold a PGCE in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion and am a qualified SENCo.

Tutoring Experience

My specialist subject is Geography (KS3-5) and I have also taught History and Religious Studies at KS3. I have worked extensively as a Teacher of Geography. I am an Assistant Headteacher in an 11-16 Secondary School. Previously I have been a Head of Humanities; Whole School Lead for Teaching & Learning and a Teacher of Humanities.

Tutoring Approach

I am flexible in my approach to tutoring sessions. I can tutor for 1 or 2 hour sessions either in your home or online. My sessions are adapted to meet the student where they are, setting smart goals and moving progress forwards.
