Tutoring Experience

I have previously tutored y10 and y11 students in maths and physics through a peer mentor scheme during Sixth Form at my school. I also tutored a classmate in A-level Mechanics and Statistics throughout year 13, which led them to achieve an A* in A-level Maths.
I specialise in Maths & Physics for any GCSE or pre-GCSE exam board, and AQA Physics, Edexcel Maths, and Further Maths (Edexcel Core Pure 1&2) for A-Level.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is personal to each student and dependent on their particular requirements. I teach students of all abilities.
For more initially able students, I project a need for problem-solving and try to direct the students in the correct direction instead of walking them through problems. For students who initially require more assistance, I employ a more direct teaching approach, which leads to greater confidence in the subject material.
