After obtaining my BA and MA at the University of Bologna, my hometown, I moved to Oxford, where I am currently doing my DPhil in Classical Languages and Literature focusing on Greek papyri. I have always loved the ancient world and the classical languages in particular.

Tutoring Experience

Since October 2021 I have taught Reading Classes for the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford. These classes, meant to be delivered to undergraduates, help the student to go through portions of Latin or Greek texts they need to prepare for their exams. In the past, during my studies, I gave private lessons of both Greek and Latin to young pupils.

Tutoring Approach

I like to stimulate the students' participation into the lecture, so that they are able to reach their goals also thanks to their own ability and effort rather than only to the teacher's work. Depending on the level of the student, initially I focus mainly on grammar and syntax, or I make the student work on a given text, starting from which he/she can foster his/her language competences.
