Hi! My name is Sandra. I am a native English speaker living in England. I am an English specialist with 20 years experience. I am experienced in 11+, IELTS, SATs, business English. I teach A1 beginner to C2 advanced and I have my Trinity Cert TESOL.
During my spare time, I enjoy practical skills. These include renovating my old house. I love animals - I have several cats. I am known for enjoying a cuppa and a biscuit!
I have been a primary school teacher for 20 years working with children and helping children with SEND. I have proven experience in teaching 11+ and standardised tests (SATs) in year 6.
I have a particular interest in grammar and written English. Moreover, I have been a successful leader in this subject during my career which means that I have advanced knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
My degree is in Education Studies with a specialism in English. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) which means I am registered with the General Teaching Council (GTC) in the UK. I have qualified teacher status (QTS). I have my Trinity CertTESOL. Furthermore, I am excellent at speaking and listening, including phonetic pronunciation.
