Hi, I'm Sara and I'm a doctor, in my first year of training, who understands how valuable education is and that is why I would love to tutor and do my part by helping others achieve their academic goals. I genuinely believe that by starting early and giving yourself enough time to put in hard work, any student will be able to achieve their goals.
I have been tutoring for 3 years and have successfully equipped my tutees with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their exams. I have helped tutees achieve 8-9s in their GCSEs, with one student achieving an 8 in english literature, when previously working at a grade 4. This is a collaborative effort to achieve such grades and as a tutor I will do my part in ensuring I encourage my students to really aim high and overcome academic hurdles and do the work needed to do so.I hope to share my experience and knowledge to help others succeed.
I aim to identify any weak areas and gaps in the student's knowledge and, from there, ensure they learn, understand and memorise all the necessary information. I will also ensure that any areas they are confident with, they remain confident in and will be able to apply their knowledge to exam questions. I believe homework is essential as the hour spent with a student can only address only so much. The rest is up to the student. They must utilise the session afterwards and put into practice what they've learnt.
