I am a qualified NHS doctor working in clinical practice and medical education with 10 years of tutoring experience. I am passionate about education and believe that an engaging and inspiring learning environment is essential to help students progress and develop their confidence. I completed my BSc and Medical Degree at Imperial College London pursuing a further postgraduate qualification in education at the University of Bristol.
I have been tutoring on a 1-2-1 and group basis for 10 years. I have taught students from Key Stage 2 to Sixth Form in a range of subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Maths and English. I have tutored children with success in the 11+ and 13+ for entry into competitive secondary schools, success at GCSE's and IB, as well as successful admission to a range of Russel Group Universities. I also have experience in tutoring for the BMAT and UKCAT for Medical School Admission. I have experience teaching students with Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism.
I believe that it's important to teach in a collaborative manner, that is engaging and fun for the student. I use and create material that is tailored to the learning needs of each individual tutee as well as creating goals to work towards and a clear schedule to achieve that.
