I love working with children & young people, and am really passionate about Science! I find learning about the world fascinating, and love passing on my knowledge to the students that I teach! I am an animal lover and love hiking & climbing mountains! The outdoors is my favourite place to be! Luckily my dog loves it too!

Tutoring Experience

I have 13 years teaching experience and around 3 years tutoring experience.

I have taught a range of age groups and subjects, however my primary subject is Science, covering Biology, Chemistry & Physics.

I completed the PGCE and also a Masters in Teaching in Learning. I also have postgraduate qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Tutoring Approach

My sessions are all online with each student having access to their own area on Google Drive. Their private area will contain all of their lesson materials and resources, along with additional practice questions and revision materials.

I tailor my approach to each student, and tend to chunk my sessions up into different activities to keep students engaged. I also include worked examples and practice exam questions in every lesson so the knowledge learnt can be applied to exam situations.
