My name is Sarah and I graduated from Oxford University with a 2.1. in Engineering Science (St Anne's College). I am a full time Teacher of Physics a selective, private, all-boys school in south-east London, where I teach both iGCSE and A-level Physics. I run the Engineering Society and support future Physicists and Engineers with their UCAS personal statements, entrance exam tests and interview preparation.
Teaching KS3 (age 11-13) / KS4 (age 13-16) / KS5 (age 16-18) at a selective, independent, boys school in south-east London.
UCAS personal statement writing (Engineering / Physics)
Oxford University PAT test and interview preparation (Engineering / Physics)
Cambridge University ESAT / ENGAA test preparation (Engineering / Natural Sciences)
Imperial College IC Aero/EEE MAT test preparation.
I welcome anyone who wants to learn and improve on their current position. Any student who is prepared to invest in their own positive outcomes and explore Physics in an accessible way is all I ask for. The key to success is connecting on a personal level and shaping sessions to motivate and nurture enjoyment. Physics is ultimately a model of how the world works so it's fundamentally interesting and brilliant! However, that's not always inspired in a classroom setting so whether you're looking for a fresh approach to Physics, or extension beyond, I am happy to engage in all things maths, physics and engineering!
