I have tutored many students from a C, D or even an E in Year 12 to achieve A or A*.
I have taught for over 20 years, in comprehensive and selective schools. I currently teach in a high-achieving grammar school.
I tutor A Level and degree students, supporting with sociological theory and knowledge, essay skills and also dissertations and university assignments.
I plan varied tutoring sessions which combine memory retrieval with essay practice, and I mark an essay weekly to allow for feedback in every tutoring session.
I have a good sense of humour and I break down complex concepts and make them relevant to every day life. I will also support you to elevate your use of language and use high level academic vocabulary effectively.
