I am a graduate in Accounting & Finance from Kingston University. I then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and became a Graduate Member of Institute of Personnel Management (IPM) in 1993 which later became the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD). I have been working as a Network Manager for a local company in Slough Trading Estate since 2005.
Since my degree, I have kept a keen interest in Economics especially since the financial crisis of 2008.
This interest has lead me to research the subject from a historical and modern perspective so as to gain a very deep understanding that goes beyond the level of mere academic enquiry.
This deeper and holistic perspective allow me to develop a passion in the subject of students and this interest helps the transfer of the complex ideas without the confusing jargon and abstract ideas that are usually found in hard to follow text books.
The culmination of my studies and work, was to be awarded the title of the best paper at an event which took papers from esteemed academics from across the world. This award lead me to have debates and round table discussions with several leading economists and financial journalists in London such as the head of The City of London Business School and the Financial Editor of the Sunday Times,
I am an expert trainer in my professional life and have developed a unique approach to understanding and teaching A Level Economics. At work, I deliver training courses very effectively due to my background in Training & Development,
I have presented some lectures in University on a variety of contemporary Economic topics and have also tutored A level students in my home in a one to one setting. I have also given many hundreds of hours of teaching of Economic theory to students of all levels who have expressed an interest in understanding financial news.
I like to present complex ideas using non threatening, real life examples without the jargon which deters and intimidates students and sets up a psychological barriers to knowledge transfer,
