I am a native French speaker living and working in the UK since 1992. I am married and have two bilingual children. I have always loved languages and learnt English, German and Spanish at school, continuing with English and Spanish at University. I have a Licence (BA) in English and a Maîtrise (master's degree) in French as a Foreign Language. In England, I studied for the PGCE and I qualified as a Language teacher in 1993. I have always enjoyed teaching my language to non-French speakers.
Since 2011 I have been a French examiner for Edexcel, marking GCSE and ALevel exam papers.
Qualified French teacher in various secondary schools in London/Kent between 1993-2014.
Distance learning tutors for adults 2010-2012
Tutor for Adults and KS3/GCSE/A Level students since 2010
French teacher at La Marelle Saturday French school for bilingual children (Dartford) 2010-2019 (GCSE group)
French Language Assistant at Eltham College working with A Level and GCSE students as well as bilingual students since 2019
I tailor my lessons according to the students' needs, wishes and learning style. We can work on the skills that the student needs the most. As an examiner, I know what is expected from the exam boards.
