We had the pleasure of engaging Shabnam as a Physics tutor for our daughter during her A levels, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Shabnam tutored our son online for over a year during which time she patiently helped him through the most challenging aspects of maths. She communicated extremely well, was always friendly and supportive and her knowledge excellent.

Shabnam has been a great help for my son studying A-level physics. She listened to what he felt he needed and she tailored her support in that area each session. They worked together weekly for a couple of months ahead of my son's first year exams and he has had a very good result. His ability and confidence has grown as a result of his tutor sessions with Shabnam.

Shabnam has been helping our son with his maths from Year-4 (Sep-2020) through to Year-6 for his 11+ exams. We saw a significant improvement in his maths over this period, and he has done well in his 11+ exams this year, thanks to Shabnam.

Shabnam has a strong technical background and this clearly shows in her teaching of maths. She clearly explains the problem, and works with the student to identify the method which the child is most comfortable with in solving the problem – as there are often multiple methods. This is important in helping the child truly understand the solution, rather than simply memorising it. We also found that Shabnam is very familiar with the type of questions which students face in their 11+ exams, and so can provide helpful guidance in areas which require focus.

Equally importantly, we found Shabnam to be an extremely professional, reliable and flexible tutor, who is more than happy to engage with us to discuss our son’s progress and needs. We always received very quick feedback from her whenever we had a query.

But perhaps most importantly, we found Shabnam to be very kind and patient with our son when he would not understand a topic and would get upset. She would take her time, and gently encourage him and help him work through the solution.

Shabnam is very professional and interacting individual who is able to engage children’s attention during her tutoring. I would strongly recommend Shabnam if you need a reliable tutor for all level.

Shabnam is a very good tutor in A level Physics for my son. He had a physics tutor previously but much prefers lessons with Shabnam whose style of tutoring is more engaging.

Excellent tutor, is able to explain concepts very well and tries her best to ensure that topic is understood. I am also grateful to her providing handouts for the topics I needed to go over.

She is also very accommodating I am not GCSE/A level - I am a doctor who needed help with some physics topics for my postgraduate exams and she very kindly has helped me with this.

I started working with Shabnam 3/4 of a year before my A'Levels Maths exams. In that time, through out work my basic skills ans methods used to solve Maths problems dramatically increased.

Having always found Mechanics the hardest part of the Maths course, the ways she taught me to look and interpret the problems made me so much more confident when dealing with Mechanixs questions. She always came very prepared to lessons with many set questions for every topic on the course, along with the worked solutions.

She encourgaged me to believe in myself and my Maths skills while helping me understand the topics I didn't when previously covered in College. Overall her teaching style is very effective and I really appreciate all the effort she put into get me obtain my target grade.

A wonderful tutor, very diligent and patient and such a lovely person too! That's the opinion of both me and my son. My son has been delighted with what he has learned and the progress he has made. We would like to thank Shabnam for helping our daughter gain more confidence in maths. By the time i got to revising for my exams, i was surprised by just how well prepared i was for almost all the exam style questions.
