Hi! I am an Online 11+ tutor (all subjects) with over 12 years experience helping children gain entry into Grammar and Independent Schools. I also tutor Maths to GCSE.
By profession I am a semi-retired Chartered Accountant and initially went into teaching when preparing my children for their various exams. Finding that I really enjoyed teaching and was able to help children build confidence and boost grades, I continued teaching on a part-time basis.

Tutoring Approach

Every student is different with their own style of learning and I create a bespoke approach depending on the needs of the particular pupil.
I focus on creating personalised and engaging lessons using real world examples and making teaching sessions fun and practical.
For exam/test specific preparation I use a range of practice papers to teach the student exam technique’s. On individual questions the student learns how to breakdown and understand different questions and prepare the correct answer in a time efficient manner, leaving enough time to review the answers.
Overall its important children foster a love for learning and independent thinking, thereby approaching the exams confidently
