Shahin tutored my son for his A-level Maths exams with impressive results. The learning curve from GCSE to A-level Maths was steep, but Shahin's beneficial support was evident from the start. Shahin is as brilliant as her reviews suggest. She knows the maths syllabi inside out, has assessed my kids accurately in terms of their learning styles and sets high standards but is always kind to them. I cannot recommend Shahin enough, absolutely 5 stars. My daughter is currently in year 11 doing her gcse's this summer and had been struggling with her maths and asked for a tutor. I have found Shahin o be a great tutor. She has instilled confidence in my daughter (Yr6/7) when doing maths and helped her enjoy the subject. With my son (Yr10/11) she has made the subject more interesting for him. He was reluctant to get tutored but enjoys his lessons and his maths considerably more now.

Shahin is a very helpful teacher she has helped a lot especially at school because with my school work I would get most of the questions correct.

We contacted Shahin to try to boost our daughter's GCSE results, but we continued after the GCSEs were halted. Initially, my daughter went to Shahin’s house but the sessions moved to Skype after COVID19 lockdown.

Shahin is really friendly and quickly established a real connection and rapport with my 16-year-old. She punctuated her lessons with funny **Web Address Removed** about her family life, which kept my daughter engaged. I once walked in and thought she was a schoolfriend as they were laughing and chatting about something. Her passion for her subject – and in wanting others to if not enjoy maths, at least not dread it – is infectious: I never thought I’d see my daughter happy to start a maths lesson!

Shahin explained things clearly, and was patient, constantly checking that my daughter understood what she was teaching her. My daughter said she learned more in her time with Shahin than she did in the past six months or more at school. She said she teaches better than any teacher she had ever had at school, and didn’t make her feel stupid when she got things wrong.

Cannot recommend highly enough! Within a few weeks she has really helped my daughter overcome her confidence issues with maths and there are improvements in her performance already. Shahin is methodical, extremely knowledgable and lessons are well prepared, and a considered plan is in place to ensure my daughter is prepared for her GCSE exams. Shahin explains everything clearly and really engages my daughter, who's says she is really easy to learn from, she is friendly and put us both at ease straight away. An absolute star and when my daughter passes her exam I have no doubt it will be down to the excellent tuition she's had from Shahin.

Our first meeting with Shahin was good. She demonstrated that she was knowledgeable & professional in what she does. She gave a brief introduction of herself and was confident that she would be able to help my daughter with her Maths with a proposal of achieving high grades in the subject. My daughter has warmed up to her after the second session; it is not an easy thing in itself for my daughter as she is very shy. We are still at an early stage (3rd session) but from her assessment, she will work on making the subject more interesting and focus upon my daughter's weaknesses to know what needed to help her through. She does focus on exam technique, which is an important element in itself, but also upon making the subject practical.

Myself and my daughter have only just met Shahin but what a fab first impression! Shahin put my daughter at ease and also managed to generate focus and enthusiasm from her too! My daughter enjoyed her first lesson and felt inspired by her energy and passion for the subject.

Shahin is very reliable and the lessons run on time.
She explains in easy to understand detail areas my son needs to work on or is struggling with. He doesn't feel stupid if he doesn't understand something so she is building his confidence.
My son feels he is building up a good student/tutor rapport and looks forward to his lessons.

What's not like about Shahin, she is professional, polite and easy to communicate with. Our daughter Katie finds her easy to work with and has already improved in the short time we have been working with Shahin. Katie and Shahin are presently working on GCSE maths and as Katie has struggled in the past we thought it a good idea to look at some external help right at the start of her GCSEs'.
We have no problem in recommending Shahin as a private tutor to any anyone looking for maths tuition.

Shahin very quickly responded to my request for a tutor and within a week an introductory session had been arranged. She assessed my daughter's learning needs in the first lesson and I was impressed that she had accurately gauged her level and had a clear action plan to address deficits in her maths knowledge.
Most importantly however is that she has made the lessons engaging and my daughter who is not the most enthusiastic pupil enjoys the lessons and has asked to do extra over the Christmas holidays! We have only had 4 lessons but so far we would highly recommend Shahin.

Shahin is an excellent Maths tutor who breaks the GCSE syllabus down in to a topic by topic and methodical manner, ensuring each is thoroughly mastered from the basics to the advanced. The teaching is clearly aimed at getting the maximum marks from the exam questions (especially the 3,4 and 5 mark questions). I have no hesitation in recommending Shahin as a tutor to any student.
