►TESTIMONIALS
"Shinichi is a very popular tutor; he is reliable and approachable and our students have found him very engaging." - Asuka, King's College London
"As a King's Factor tutor, Shinichi carried out his duties with the same dedication and enthusiasm with which he approached his studies. He was highly organised and prepared very well for each of the sessions. Moreover, when interacting with secondary school students, he was able to explain complex mathematical ideas concisely and with a high degree of clarity.
Shinichi is a very pleasant person and a pleasure to work with. He developed an excellent relationship with the students that attended and the colleagues with whom he worked." - Nazar, Teaching Fellow at King's College London
The biggest benefit of tutoring privately (as opposed to a larger group) is that the pace is set by the tutee, and gives them significantly more opportunities to provide their own insight into every problem. Our sessions will be more like a two way conversation and not me talking "at" the tutee, as especially with a subject like maths where there are many ways to solve a problem, I think it's important to work through the tutee's favourite method and improve on that, before suggesting another which may be more efficient.
