I am a Submarines Engineering, and in my free time I’m looking for younger students to teach maths or physics and achieve their end goal. In my opinion the best way to succeed is to gauge a good understanding of the topics at hand instead of memorising facts which with maths and physics can sometimes be people’s downfalls. I have always had an interest in space as well as knowing how everything works, in my learning journey I have obtained skills in finding the best ways to achieve top grades. Also being a student who has just finished my A-levels I understand the stress and pressure students are going through, as well as the best ways to revise without it being boring.

Tutoring Experience

I have two younger sisters, one who has just finished her GCSE’s and the other in year 5. I have tutored her through her exams. I myself also having had multiple tutors and am aware of the ways in which they interact with students and teaching methods that will help most.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring would firstly be to see the level of understanding the student has, by giving them a few questions to try and see how they respond. From there I will try and improve their understanding of said topics by teaching them the syllabus and providing them with easier questions, as they improve I will increase the difficulty of the questions, until I as well as the student is happy with their performance we will move on. It also helps understand the various style of questions given and to pick out important points for similar style questions.
