I have done Dual Degree programme in Mathematics & Statistics followed by Masters in Engineering Management. I have also done a certificate course in River & Coastal Engineering & a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications.

In addition to this, I have attended lots of day courses & certificate courses to keep my knowledge of the subjects quite fresh.

I used to be an Associate Member of IMA (Institute of Mathematics & its Applications) and a Student Member of RSS (Royal Statistical Society).

I am a Full Time Tutor with an extended availability.

In the past, I have worked for private, government and semi-government organisations always within the functions of Business Management and Data Analysis.

Tutoring Experience

• I bring an International Experience to the table as I have taught hundreds of students over last 20 years in UK as well as in INDIA.

• I have also taught at some schools ( online as well as in-person ) in and around Basingstoke, Fleet and Newbury in UK.

• My teaching experience includes online as well as in-person completely customised for one-to-one as well as group settings from Year-7 onwards including GCSEs and A-levels.

• For GCSEs and A-levels, I do cover all the major exam boards like AQA, OCR, and Edexcel including International Exams.

• For GCSEs - I do teach Mathematics, Business Studies , Physics and Chemistry.

• For A-levels - I do teach Mathematics, Statistics , Business Studies and Mechanics.

• I do have around 30 to 40 students every year including GCSEs and A-levels.

• I do get students from different backgrounds with different abilities and this diversity make the session more interactive and interesting.

• I am also experienced for helping Resit students for their Retakes of GCSEs and A-levels for all the exam boards as available in UK.

Tutoring Approach

To me, Tutoring is an Art as well as a Science as it is the way of helping others with delicacy and dedication, turning the subject matters into such a form that even a layman can understand.

Every opportunity in tutoring is a journey for both, a Tutor & a Tutee, that provides them both with an upward learning curve.

I am very flexible and approachable by nature and I do have different methods of explaining the same topic differently at different levels. I never get annoyed / irritated for any questions or queries.

There is an additional charge if the outcall distance is more than 10 miles from Basingstoke and this is purely to compensate the Time and Fuel that this extra travelling takes.

Following is the summary of the Travel Cost that I charge in addition to my standard hourly rate.

For the distance between 10 to 15 miles, I do charge £10 extra in total per session.
For the distance between 15 to 20 miles, I do charge £15 extra in total per session.
For the distance between 20 to 25 miles, I do charge £20 extra in total per session.

If there is a Parking Charge to pay then this gets added to the Bill for each lesson.

SPECIAL OFFERS:

==> If you book a 2 hour session and if the travelling distance is less than 15 miles then there will be no travel cost added to your bill, so you just pay of for the session.

For Online Tuitions :

I am quite flexible with respect to the methods of payment of Fees, whether it be Cash in Hand or Online Money Transfer, that's up to you.

The only thing I ask is that you pay deposit for the 2 lessons upfront in addition to the first lesson fees and then make sure that the payment for each lesson onwards is made preferably on the same day.

You don't pay for the last 2 lessons when the tutoring is about to end, hence your deposit is quite safe and you will also receive a separate email for deposit confirmation.
