Very knowledgeable and helpful, definitely recommended.

Updated review to be both fair and honest. My daughter says Sian is good at explaining things. However, as the tutoring progressed, several appointments were cancelled or rearranged, including one on the morning of the Chemistry exam and my daughter was quite upset. She's smart but needs reassurance and gets nervous easily. Sian is a good tutor but I felt could have been more reliable.

Unfortunately we only had one session as we entered Lockdown and exams were cancelled. However in that one session my son left enthused and had that light bulb moment and had been looking forward to further sessions. Hope to use Sian again when we get back to normal and have Highers to consider.

Due to the present exceptional circumstances surrounding Covid19. We are no longer able to achieve face-to-face tuition. The tutoring sessions will not now proceed.

We are very happy with Sian's tutoring. Daughter already improved her scores at school and says that Sian helps her understand chemistry. She gained her confidence back and enjoys studying the subject. After 6 tuitions I have no hesitation to recommend Sian.

An excellent choice, my daughter warmed to Sian immediately. Her understanding of the subject and the requirements for exam success are excellent. I have nothing but praise for Sian and have no problems recommending her.

Friendly from the minute my daughter met her and made her feel very welcome and at ease. Came away after her first session feeling very positive.

Sian is an experienced and engaging tutor. My daughter has learnt her National 5 work quickly with Sian and has been given worksheets and background reading to help her continue learning at home reinforcing what she has learned in her lessons . I am most impressed that Sian has moved beyond just teaching a subject for examination purposes but has inspired my daughter to find a genuine interest and curiosity in knowing more about chemistry.

My daughter actually looks forward to the hour spent with Sian which she finds very focused and incredibly beneficial. Sian is warm and friendly and put her at ease from the moment of first meeting and my daughter remains utterly comfortable and relaxed with her. She leaves the session feeling enthusiastic and empowered, albeit tired -showing how much she's been concentrating. I wholly recommend Sian as a tutor .

It is hard to give Sian a "rating" as she and my daughter have only met once so far but from that initial meeting my impressions (and more importantly, my daughter's) are good. They seemed to get on well and her approach seemed very friendly and helpful. We look forward to conitnuing with Sian after the school holidays

Sian is a super tutor, who explains things in a way my daughter can understand, I wish we had met Sian sooner.

Sian quickly established the areas where my daughter was having difficulty and from the first session my daughter knew the tuition would make a great difference. The result was a Standard Grade pass at level 1.
