"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” - Malcolm X. This quote inspired me to become a teacher and to use my skills to create an opportunity for students to develop a genuine enjoyment for sociology and psychology. I am passionate about using these subjects as a way to teach compassion and empathy as this helps students to attain the skills needed to gain the qualifications to help them reach their next step in life.

3 years experience teaching R.E. at KS3 (Year 7, 8 and 9)
I prefer to use a student-led approach, whereby students are questioned on their knowledge, application and evaluation skills and working together we build on these skills preparing them for their exams.
I utilise past exam questions as a way to build retention of knowledge and the required skills needed to answer exam questions, building confidence in the students ability.
