I am a 1st class graduate of BSc Marine Geography, and graduated from Cardiff University in 2017. I've been passionate about geography ever since I can remember, dating back to the fascination I had with a simple world map I had postered on my wall as a child. Having completed a Geography related degree, I'm now keen to help teach and inspire future generations to pursue a subject as vast and rewarding as geography.

I'm friendly, attentive and enthusiastic, and am excited by the prospect of teaching some great students!

Tutoring Experience

I have experience in teaching on an informal basis, helping students to develop both their skill and enjoyment of their subject. I also have informal experience in teaching English as a foreign language, aiding students with their IELTS exams and demonstrating my ability to communicate information in a simple and effective manner.

Tutoring Approach

As someone with both an academic background in Geography and a passion for travel so as to experience the amazing geography of the world, I consider myself to have the 'best of both worlds' when it comes to my approach to teaching. This helps me to assist the student both to develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject, as well as to focus on real world examples of geography to develop their interest in the subject, making the learning process more effective and enjoyable.

I can aid the student to approach the subject from multiple angles, focussing on a teaching method that works best for them. This will increase learning efficiency and will make both the lesson and post lesson learning a more enjoyable process.
