I'm waiting to start my Medicine undergraduate in 2024 at the Charles University First Faculty of Medicine in the Czech Republic. I have currently completed my A levels and waiting for my results. I loved studying chemistry during my A levels and I was predicted an A* for chemistry. I'm a very knowledgeable person and would love to give advice on anyone hoping to study medicine in the future.
I studied Biology, Chemistry and Physics for my A levels. These are the exam boards I studied for each of the subjects.
Biology - OCR
Chemistry - AQA
Physics - AQA
One of the subjects I really enjoyed studying was chemistry. So I think I can do a pretty good job if anyone needs help in chemistry. I was also predicted two A's in both Physics and Biology if anyone needs help.
The way I would like to teach is at the start I would do the essential theory bits that are needed to go through thoroughly. Then to get an understanding of the topic, I would do some pat paper topic questions. Then when the student is fully confident with that particular topic, I would do some past papers and will teach some of the exam techniques in order to achieve those higher grades. As a person about to start medicine, I think I possess all qualities such as teaching and communication skills to be able to guide a student too success.
