I am a second year medical student with 5 years of tuition experience.

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years of tuition experience in a variety of subjects: KS2 maths, English and science, as well and the 11+, and GCSE Biology, Chemistry and English. I have worked with a high number of students to improve their confidence in their chosen subject and achieve their target grades. I have helped numerous students gain places at their chosen selective secondary schools after successful completion of the 11+, and GCSE students secure places on their chosen A Level courses. I have tutored a few students who were aiming to study Medicine and I thoroughly enjoy sharing advice the medical school application process.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is adaptable and tailored to each student. I understand that learning is an individualised process and no two students are the same. I work with my students to identify areas of concern, which we address together and solidify understanding. This may be in the form of past paper questions, honing in on exam technique and timing, or going over more specific topics in greater detail and at a slower pace than what may be offered in class.
