Hello, I am currently a biochemistry undergraduate student, who received received an A* in Chemistry and an A in Biology, after uni I am planning on becoming a teacher and teach science full time. I am very enthusiastic about science and love sharing this passion with others and demystifying challenging concepts.

Tutoring Experience

I used to work at my old six-form college mentoring 1 to 1 helping them to reach their targets and increase their confidence. This means that I am gaining invaluable experience working with students, allowing me to better understand, both the way it is taught at schools, the best revision techniques and exam tips. I cover the core content and knowledge needed for both Biology and Chemistry and go into exam techniques and give advice on the structure of questions and the exam as a whole, tailoring the lessons to your individual requirements and pace.

Tutoring Approach

I usually take a more student lead approach, to help boost their confidence in the material and the exam themselves. This is done by recapping parts of the course, going through past in class tests to see were they went wrong, and going through past paper questions to help learn the mark schemes
