I am an undergraduate at University College London studying Neuroscience (MSci), with a passion for education and learning in all forms. I love both science and English, and pursued both to the highest level in school. I obtained A*s at A-Level and 9s at GCSEs across all of my subjects, meaning I understand what is necessary to obtain the highest grades. I want to share my passion for learning with tutees - education isn't just for school.
I am just starting out with tutoring as a student at university, but have proven myself as a good communicator in other areas - I helped younger children learn to read in school, have volunteered coaching badminton to younger children, often help younger siblings with homework, have a grade 3 LAMDA certificate in public speaking and use teamwork and communication skills in drama performances and group presentations. ??
I am conscientious, and can tailor my tuition support to the needs of individuals - children and young people learn through different avenues, and having explored many of these avenues myself, I am well-placed to support them in finding out what works for their brain, and what will encourage them to dive deeper into their subjects. I will provide learning materials, marked assessments and feedback, as well as an engaging rapport to keep my tutees interested and
