I am a primary school teacher based in Herefordshire, with a passion for inspiring today's young people to reach their absolute potential. With a degree in Biology (specialising in Zoology), I hope to inspire children to want to learn more about the world around them.
I have been teaching in primary schools for three years, after working as a wildlife surveyor in aviation around the world. I have worked with a range of year groups in primary settings, specialising in Year 1 and Year 3. I have extensive experience teaching phonics to KS1 children, and delivering phonics interventions to KS2 children.
Every child, no matter their background or ability, should feel that they can succeed with their learning.
With my positive manner and can-do attitude, I aim to remove the fear barrier to learning that often leads to children lacking confidence. Often children will question, 'why do I need to know this?' I strive for children to feel that their learning is purposeful, and most importantly - fun!
