I'm a highly competent and successful educational practitioner with 12 years experience as primary school teacher and private tutor.

I have an outstanding track record of supporting learners in attaining success at end of key stage examinations and 11+ for first choice schools.

Tutoring Experience

Experience: I have wealth of experience teaching across the primary phase- teaching in all year groups. I have also had experience of supporting children at Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
In my teaching roles, I have been part of the senior leadership team having responsibility for the attainment and progress of children in my Key stage. I have led in both KS1 and KS2. In addition to this, I have been a senior leader in literacy across the school and have worked externally as a literacy advisor to other schools.

Over the last 10 years I have private tutored many children in various subjects. I cover common entrance exams, confidence boosting in maths, English, verbal and non-verbal.

Tutoring Approach

I am friendly, conscientious, patient and well organised individual. I believe in tailoring tuition to the individual pupil's needs. I enjoy teaching and have a caring and fun approach to all lessons.
I offer tuition in Basic Skills for Primary aged children through to coaching and exam preparation for Common Entrance Exams to Independent Schools.
I have a current CRB Enhanced Disclosure Certificate.
