I am a first year medical student at Imperial College London. I completed my GCSEs with 11 subjects at grade 9 level in 2019 and my A-levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths, French and an EPQ) all at A* level in 2021. I am therefore very familiar with the new curriculums and know the most efficient revision techniques and online resources to tackle the exams and get the results you want!
I started off tutoring my friends' siblings while I was in school, then started working with the tutoring company MyTutor doing online lessons for a few months during my first year at university. I learnt a lot from my time with MyTutor and worked on planning my lessons to use the time efficiently and get results.
I like to spend the first lesson watching the student do a range of questions or a past paper (helping them along the way if they need it) in order to find their strengths and weaknesses. I then ask them which topics they want to spend extra time on and create a plan of topics to teach/revise that complements what they are doing at school at the same time.
