I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught in local and International schools around the world. I have been in school management as a head of department, head of year and head of school. I have been an examiner for various exam boards and inspected international schools for teaching standards. I have taught teachers in advanced teaching methods and exam preparation.

Tutoring Experience

20 years teaching experience of Economics and Business. I have taught IB Economics and Business including IA marking and EE supervision. I have taught A Level Business and Economics, the Cambridge International syllabus, Edexcel, AQA and OCR syllabus. I have also taught GCSE and IGCSE with Cambridge International, Edexcel and AQA. I have been an examiner with IB and Cambridge International.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer an approach that teaches theory through real life examples so students can relate what is being taught to their own experiences. I prefer interactive classes where the student gives feedback and we talk about issues bringing in the theory of the course. I also like to break down questions, exams and past papers so students can think like an examiner and understand how to get the best marks possible.
